About Us
In 1982 Balgo Company, Inc. was started as a small family-owned School Student Transportation company. Close attention was paid to every aspect of providing the best in safe and timely transportation to many students in Montgomery County. Today, Balgo Company has grown to be one of the largest School Transportation providers in Montgomery County.
Our Fleet
Balgo specializes in small vehicle transport using customized mini-vans, handicap vans and sedans. All vehicles are Balgo owned and operated. We follow an aggressive preventative maintenance schedule to be sure that all vehicles are safe and reliable.
Our Team
After passing multiple background checks our drivers receive extensive training to learn how to ensure safe and caring transport for all students. We employ the latest customized technology to handle even the most complex scheduling needs and changes, which gives us an on-time pick up and drop off rate of well over 95 percent. Balgo Company does not provide any type of transport other than to transport School Children. That is our specialty. Our culture and our beliefs are that the more you do something, the better you get at it.
Our drivers are road tested and receive periodic ongoing training so they can provide safe and effective transportation. Because we utilize small capacity vehicles, no CDL (commercial driver license) is required to become a driver at Balgo Company. Our drivers and monitors/aides are trained to understand and work with all types of children. They get to know each child’s personality and special needs, so we can provide safe and caring transport to children of any school age. Our training programs are ongoing, and they are constantly updated with the latest knowledge on how to work with the children.
Our Office Staff will contact each student’s family to be sure we understand the student’s needs and requirements. All information is entered into our proprietary and secure Integrated Operating System so the information is immediately disseminated to Dispatchers, Drivers, Monitor/Aides and Management.
Employment Opportunities
Balgo is actively looking for Drivers available on weekday mornings and/or afternoons. Our compensation packages are very competitive and performance bonuses are available through the year.
No CDL Required!
Our drivers are not required to maintain a Commercial Drivers License (CDL).
